Ranveer Has Close ties to the Kapoor family
Ranveer is often called a self-made star and it is often said that he is a contrast between the famous star kids like Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, and Shraddha Kapoor. However, this may not be the case. Ranveer Singh is actually closely related to the Kapoor family. His aunt is Sonam Kapoor’s mother and Anil Kapoor’s wife. He is known to have been very close friends with both Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor in his childhood. This, along with the fact that he was once dating Ahana Deol, may present another reason as to why he was selected and given a chance to work in Bollywood.

He has had a vibrant and diverse past
Ranveer initially worked as a copywriter before he was given a break in Bollywood movies. Fresh out of college, he joined a renowned copywriting agency as a copywriter. He is also extremely choosy regarding the movies he selects, and is known to have rejected 3 major movies before he decided to work in YRF’s band Baaja Baarat. He also dropped his last name Bhavani when he took up movies as he said that it was very long and fans may have difficulties in remembering this name. he had the surname of Singh from his grandfather who is a Sikh.
As for his educational qualifications, he is an Arts graduate from Indiana university where he took theatre as a minor subject.
