In latest, Sara Ali Khan has been trolled on social media for celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. She took to Instagram to wish her fans and others Ganesh Chaturthi but she was attacked by the fundamentalists. The Islamic troll brigade came in full force to slam her for worshipping Lord Ganesha and celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi despite being a ‘Muslim’. The fundamentalists and the ones who tool troll on her also asked her to remove ‘Ali Khan” from her name. They even questioned her rumoured relationship with a Hindu actor, Kartik Aryan.

Islamic bigots needs to understand secularism
Yes, in the present time the Islamic bigots who troll on celebrities for celebrating Hindu festivals are required to understand the meaning of secularism. Since India is a secular state so people have the right to choose or not to choose their religion. They can even support all the religions. However, it is seen most of the times when Hindus or Christians wishes Eid, hosts Iftaar party or visit to Ajmer Dargah or Haji Ali, the Islamic bigots don’t complain. Well a lot of Islamic bigots were there who started slamming Sara Ali Khan right after she posted her picture posing before Lord Ganesh and wishing Ganesh Chaturthi to everyone. However, there were many Instagrammers who stood with the actress. They applauded her for celebrating Hindu festival like Eid. They also spoke about the kind of secularism in India there should be India. In all the event of bombarding of the comments over the picture shared by Sara, she remained quiet. Sara is not alone to get criticism
Before Sara Ali Khan got attacked by fundamentalists, former Bengali Actress Nusrat Jahan was also criticised for celebrating Durga Puja despite she is a Muslim. However, she married to a Hindu businessmen. Along with her, Irfan Pathan, Mohammad Kaif, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan had also been put under scrutiny for celebrating Christmas, Holi, Diwali and Rakshabandhan.
