A series of terrorist attacks took place in November 2008 in Mumbai, where 10 members of Lashkar-e- Taiba, an Islamic terrorist organization based in Pakistan, carried out by 12 subordinates who planned bomb attacks which lasted for 4 days across Mumbai. The Attack started on Wednesday 26 November and last till Saturday 29th November 2008.
India’s financial and entertainment capital was in the throes of one of the most shocking terror attacks the world had ever seen. 174 people died including 9 attackers and more than 300 people got injured. Out of all attacks, 8 of them occurred in South Mumbai at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai Chabad house, The Oberoi Trident, The Taj Palace and Tower, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, The Nirman house, The metro cinema and in a lane behind Times of India building at Saint Xaviers College.

India’s National Security Guards (NSG) conducted Operation Black Tornado to throw out all the attackers and end the attacks. Pakistani attacker Ajmal Kasab solely disclosed that the attackers were the members of the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba among others. The Government of India said, that the attackers came from Pakistan and their controllers were in Pakistan, on which Pakistan later confirmed that the attack planner was a Pakistani citizen.

With this Sajid Mir has become the world’s most wanted terrorist in the world who is believed to be in Pakistan. Sajid Mir was also the part of Let group which conspired and executed attacks in 2008 in Mumbai. The reward of 5 million dollars has been offered by the FBI for giving information regarding the arrest of Sajid Mir. Sajid Mir is the main leader behind the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, who planned and executed the attacks.
He is believed to be a foreign recruiter for Let and the key person for the training camps. Mir visited Indian in 2005 using a fake passport issued by Pakistan in the name of Mohammed Awan.
