Sports Celebrity Manu Bhaker Bags Gold in the Junior and Senior Category of National Level Shooting Trials

At the T2 trials in the national shooting trials held on Tuesday,Manu Bhaker bagged double gold in women’s pistol 25m and junior 25m pistol subcategories. Manu competed with Ridam Sangwan, another state partner.

Manu was able to manage the top spot to qualify by obtaining 30 shots while Ridan obtained 27 shots. In the end, Manu outperformed Ridan and dragged victory in the qualifying round. Paving their path towards a double gold, both the players were shooting the 25 meter variant of the sport at the National Shooting Trial for pistol and rifle this Tuesday.

In both the shooting variants, Manu made herself qualify for shooting 584. She achieved victory in the women’s category with a finishing score of 32. Acharya Ashok Patil from Maharashtra came second with a score of 28 goals.

At a score of 24, Manu’s sports partner, Gauri Shefferon came third. It can be noted that Manu hit the score of 30 in the junior finals and she displayed a remarkably better performance than her state partner Riyadh Sangwan – who had a score of 27 points. Bhutti Bhatia was eliminated from the competition by the province of Haryana by a score of 1-2 and it obtained third place.

On similar terms of sportsmanship opportunity, Manu, Chinki Yadav, and various other 2020 Tokyo Olympic quota holders found their place in the finals of women’s category.
