According to the report, six employees of The Time Network have been affected by this global pandemic disease COVID-19 in Mumbai, which includes four employees of the Mirror Now, News Channel.
The media group said in a statement that, “Despite practicing all safety measures and precautions while fulfilling their duties, four of our colleagues at Mirror Now and two support staff members have tested coronavirus positive.” And also said that the website and the other network’s staff have tested safe and “continue to be lodged with us safely”.
The Times Network’s office located in kamala Mills in Lower Parel, its houses Mirror Now, Times Now, ET Now, has been sealed and operations have been moved to different facility. The report says that it will open in Mid of the Week.
Channel said that the BMC has conducted anti-virus sanitization at the premises and everything will be ready to again start the operation by mid-week. BMC said, “They have been shifted to the mandatory quarantine facility at a private hospital in Mumbai and are doing fine.”
On Sunday, 217 new positive coronavirus cases and 16 deaths were reported in Mumbai, making the total number of positive cases to 1,399 and 97 deaths.
