Some amazing alternatives for banned Chinese apps; India bans 59 Chinese apps

As the government of India on Monday, notified the ban on 59 China-linked mobile and non-mobile applications including TikTok, ShareIt, Cam Scanner, etc. now most of the people who were some way or the other using those apps, are now looking for an alternative against those apps which are now by Indian government.

This notification was released by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeITY). This ban is imposed under Section 69A of Information Technology Act and rules stating that these apps are “engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order”.

According to The Hindu, IT ministry also stated that it has received many complaints from various different sources, including several reports about misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for “stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorised manner to servers which have locations outside India.”
