According to a report, Apple will manufacture its upcoming iPhone 12 in India. This ‘Made in India’ model of iPhone will be produced in Bengaluru. Indigenous model of this phone can be available for sale from mid-2021 India.
Will be Cheaper than iPhone 11
‘Made in India’ iPhone 12 will be cheaper than iPhone 11, due to the production of its in India, its price will also be greatly affected. It is believed that the price of iPhone 12 made in India may be less than the iPhone 11 as the earlier models of the latter were imported products, while the former will be manufactured in India.
Production will start in October 2020
Production of iPhone 12 in India will start from October 2020. 1,000 employees have also started working on the company’s new plant. This will not be Apple’s first plant in India. Earlier, the company has started production of iPhone 11 and iPhone XR at the Foxconn plant in Chennai.

Investment of INR 2,900 crore in India
The company will invest Rs 2,900 crore for production of iPhone 12 in India. Business Standard gave this information in one of its reports. In India, this phone will be manufactured at the Narasapura plant in Bengaluru.
This phone will be produced in India by Wistron company of Taiwan, which manufactures for Apple on contracts. According to the information, the company will hire 10,000 people in this plant.
When will the iPhone 12 launch
This time the iPhone 12 may take longer to enter the market. Several reports were revealed which said that Apple could postpone the launch event this year due to delays in iPhone production. Now it has been confirmed by the company itself that the iPhone 12 series will arrive late this year. Some time back the news came that the company can launch the new iPhone 12 at its launching event on 8 September. After this, the company confirmed that this phone will now be delayed due to production problems.
