Keeping aside the economic recession in the second and third quarter, the year was for Indian automotive industry. Many big launches have been done throughout the year. 2021 is knocking on the door and a series of cars is ready to get launch in the country in the first month of the upcoming year.

Here is the list of 7 cars, which will be available for sale in the Indian market from January 2021.
MG Hector Plus (7-Seater )
MG Motor has recently confirmed its first product in Indian market, MG Hector, gained rapid popularity in the country thanks to its best and large feature list. MG motors felt that the 7-seater version of the car can take a step forward. However, there will be a bench-type seat in the middle of the new 7-seat version.
The car will be offered with 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter petrol and 2.0-liter turbo diesel powertrain with the same 1.5-liter petrol, light hybrid.
The new 7-seater version of SUV will be kept in a price range of 6-seat Hector plus, which is currently between Rs 13.73 and Rs. 18.68 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is also planning to launch the Hector Plus 6-seater in 4 × 4 variant.
Tata Altroz Turbo
Till now, Tata Altroz has been introduced with 1.2-liter three-cylinder Petrol Engine which is 83 PS and generates 113 NM and a 1.5 litre 90 PS/120NM. However, Tata Motors has confirmed the plan to introduce a turbo-petrol engine for premium hatchback along with dual clutch automatic transmission.

New PowerTrain will be 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which will provide maximum power of 110PS and will generate torque of 140 nm at 5,500 RPM. Altroz Turbo will be available for sale from the next month and its price will be up to Rs 7.99 lakhs to 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota Fortuner Facelift
After introducing Innova crysta facelift in India. Toyota is now focussing on Fortuner. We expect that some new features will be added with visual updates in the premium SUV. Car is expected to get 2.7-liter petrol and 2.8-liter diesel powertrain and the engine is expected to be tuned .

Diesel mill now produces 177 PS and 420 NM (450 nm with 6-speed), however, after the update, it will be rated at 204 PS / 500 nm. On the other hand, petrol powertrain will be maintained in the same tune position, i.e. 166 PS / 245 NM.
Toyota Fortuner Legender
Toyota had officially disclosed the Facelifted Fortuner a few months ago and will be available from 6 January 2021. After the arrival of Fortuner facelift , the company will present special Legender Variant. Legender is basically a sportive variant of Fortuner.

Being more premium, it will sit on top in the list of seven seat SUVs. Apart from few upgrades the will also change add some cosmetic changes , which will make it more aggressive. PowerTrain Options will possibly be similar to Facelift.
The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine
Series 3 of BMW is one of the best-selling BMW cars in India. Now the German company is launching this series with a new long wheel base variant. BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is going to be launched in India next month.
Compared to the standard model, Gran has 110 mm long wheelbase in the Limousine variant. BMW has confirmed that 3 series Gran Limousine will be launched in India on January 21, 2021. However, the new variant will be slightly more expensive than the regular 3 series.
Audi A4 Facelift
Audi did not upgrade A4 Luxury Sedan as per the BS 6 Norms, which was implemented from April 1, 2020, therefore it was closed in India. However, Automaker has clearly planned to launch it in January 2021.
Compared to the previous model, there will be some remarkable changes like new Headlamps, Twisted Front and Rear Bumper in the upcoming 2021 A4 Facelift. Apart from this, there will be a 2.0-liter TSI engine which gives a maximum of 190 PS power and peak torque of 320 nm.
Jeep Compass
Jeep launched Compass SUV in India in 2017, and there was no change in the vehicle except for the new variant. Next year, the American manufacturer will finally give a very essential facelift to compass. While there will be some changes in the exterior, as well as some changes in the interior will be seen.
The design of the dashboard will be different, and the touchscreen infotainment system will be bigger, and a completely digital instrument console will be added. The price of current jeep compass is between 16.49 lakh and 24.99 lakh rupees. It is expected that the Facelift model will be slightly more expensive.
