- The Maharashtra district of Aurangabad has been renamed Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar by the Central Government. At the same time, permission has been granted to rename Osmanabad as Dharashiv. - The Union Minister for Science and Technology recently announced the construction of a new nuclear power plant in Gorakhpur, Haryana. This will be North India’s first nuclear power plant. This plant will take up 560 hectares of land. This will produce 2800 MW of electricity. In 2014, the foundation stone was laid. However, construction is just getting started. The first phase will be completed by 2025, and the second phase will be completed by 2028. The 2800 MW plant will be fully operational once the second phase is completed.

- The court has granted the CBI remand of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia until March 4. - Air India has placed orders with Airbus and Boeing for 470 aircraft. This transaction is worth $70 billion, according to Air India CEO Campbell Wilson (5.8 lakh crore).
