The trailer of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi was released on March 2, 2020 in a grand event in Mumbai. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif who are in the lead roles, Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh are the other big names in the movie. This movie is set to release on March 24. The movie is written by Sajid-Farhad and it is the fourth movie in the series of cop movies directed by Rohit Shetty including Singham, Singham returns and Simmba.
Akshay made a super entry in the movie launch party
At the trailer launch party of Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar made a super style entry. He arrived on a bike and was in a complete black look. He wore a black colored T-shirt on which ‘Aa rahi hai police’ was written. He paired his looks with a jacket and jeans. In a comment on his entry on bike, he wrote on Twitter that he ditched the helicopter and opted for the bike to beat the Mumbai traffic.
Not only Akshay but the film director Rohit Shetty too made a fab entry in his yellow-colored stylish car. Like Akshay, he also wore the same black T-shirt with a line ‘Aa rahi hai police’. He even posed paparazzi in front of the car. Katrina arrived in an orange-colored bodycon dress in which she was looking fab.

Super excited team of Sooryavanshi on release of its trailer
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to introduce Akshay Kumar as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi who is the chief of anti-terrorism squad. He will be playing titular role in the movie. Katrina Kaif will be playing role of a doctor opposite to Akshay Kumar after almost a decade. They were last seen together in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Ajay said that along with the men, women were also reacting positive on the release of the trailer. Akshay said that in the three decade long career, he had never seen a huge crowd at the trailer launch of the film.
A fabulous movie by Rohit Shetty
On interaction with media on the trailer launch event, Akshay Kumar said, “I have made 135 films and for the first time I am watching such a huge crowd. Rohit has made a fabulous movie. I hope the audience will like it. Ajay and I started our careers together and we have reached here, where we have done so many films together.” While talking about the trailer, Ajay Devgun said that the loved the trailer. It was fab and for the first time he was watching the trailer of the film.
Ranveer Sigh who will also be seen in the film in a cameo role said, “I am too excited. I don’t know whether I am excited about sharing screen space with my idols or reuniting with Rohit sir. I am as excited as the audience”. Rohit Shetty said that it was a challenge for him to figure out the new entertaining angle in the cop universe with his latest film Sooryavanshi.
