History
This group of 572 islands is the most isolated and distant part from Indian mainland and lies in Bay of Bengal.
It’s capital is Port Blair and this home of very diverse flora and fauna is spread in area of 8250sq km.
The UT is home of some most primitive tribal groups and tourists are banned to visit such area but the inhabited areas are full of scenic beauty.
