Gujarat Titans have become the second team, after Rajasthan Royals, to win the IPL title in their first season. GT led by Hardik Pandya won the championship after a thrilling performance in the IPL 2022. They defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets to win the final match. The team erupted in jubilation after their triumph. Dinesh Karthik was named Super Striker of the Season, while Umran Malik was named Emerging Player of the Season. The trophy-winning Gujarat Titans were awarded Rs 20 crore, while the Rajasthan Royals finished second with Rs 12.5 crore. In the second qualifier, RCB had lost to Rajasthan Royals. RCB, which came in third place, received Rs 7 crore. The fourth-placed squad, Lucknow Super Giants, was awarded Rs 6.5 crore in prize money.
