In the Lebanese capital Beirut, a massive explosion on Tuesday took place which injured many people. The explosion rocked many parts of the capital and dense black smoke began to rise from the city. Residents said the blast was so intense that the windows of the houses and the ceiling were broken. The explosion appears to have occurred in the vicinity of the port of Beirut and caused massive damage. A photographer from the Associate Press, near the Beirut port, saw people injured on the ground. Also saw heavy devastation in central Beirut. More than 10 people have lost their lives and the death toll is rising.
Some local TV stations reported that the blast occurred in the area of Beirut in an area where firecrackers were kept. At the same time, according to the news agency Reuters, the head of internal security of Lebanon has informed that there has been a blast in Port area in Beirut. Extremely powerful explosive material has been used for this explosion.

The explosion was so huge that people started calling it ‘nuclear explosion’. However, there has been no official confirmation of any kind of nuclear involvement. The explosion was so strong that its voice was heard from many miles away. People misunderstood blast as an earthquake and started running wildly. But when the situation was reported, people ran towards the blast site in search of their loved ones. Shortly there was a crowd of thousands around the scene. In such a situation, the ambulance faced difficulty in reaching the injured and transporting the injured to the hospital from there.
