Former US President Barack Obama has said a lot about many leaders including Rahul Gandhi in his book. Obama has mentioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in his autobiography ‘A Promised Land’. Obama, in his autobiography ‘A Promised Land’, described Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as ‘nervous’ and less competent. In the book, Obama also mentions former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Vladimir Putin.

According to a review published in the New York Times, Obama says of Rahul Gandhi that he has the qualities of a ‘bewildered and uncouth’ student who has completed his entire course and wants to impress his teacher But it lacks the ability or ‘passion to master the subject’.
