According to health experts, a white fungal infection also attacks a person’s lungs like a COVID-19. Symptoms of lung infection from white fungus resemble corona infection when compared on a high-resolution computed tomography. So it is very difficult to differentiate between the two. To confirm it, a specialised diagnosis like HRCT scans may be required.
These people are most vulnerable
The causes for this infection are similar to causes for Black Fungus. Similar to black fungus this also targets people with a weak immune system and people with co-morbidities. Besides, people who use antibiotics or steroid medicines can fall prey to it.
